What are industry modules?▼

Industry modules add compliance-specific scopes, token claims, and discovery endpoints for regulated industries. Healthcare adds SMART on FHIR scopes and EHR launch context. Fintech adds PSD2/SCA controls. They activate per tenant — your SaaS can serve healthcare and fintech customers from one deployment. Included in Scale, available as $49/mo add-ons on Ship.

What is zero-code access?▼

Deploy our eBPF agent on any Linux host or Kubernetes cluster. It intercepts HTTP requests at the kernel level and validates JWT tokens — no code changes to your applications. Protect admin panels, internal APIs, and dashboards by creating policies in the dashboard. Available on the Scale plan.

What counts as a monthly active user (MAU)?▼

A MAU is a unique user who authenticates (logs in) at least once in a calendar month. Users who don't log in don't count. Registration without login doesn't count.

What happens when I exceed my MAU limit?▼

We won't cut off your users. You'll get a notification to upgrade. If you consistently exceed your limit, we'll reach out to discuss the right plan. We never block logins.

Is there a free trial for paid plans?▼

Yes — Ship and Scale both come with a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start. You can downgrade to Build at any time.

Can I switch plans at any time?▼

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade instantly from your dashboard. When upgrading, you're charged the prorated difference. When downgrading, credits apply to your next billing cycle.

How does SSO pricing compare to Auth0?▼

Auth0 charges $150+/month per SSO connection as an add-on to their $228/mo plan. AuthFI includes 5 SSO connections in the $49/mo Ship plan — that's over 10x cheaper for the same capability.

Do you offer annual billing?▼

Yes. Annual billing saves you 2 months — Ship is $470/year (instead of $588), Scale is $4,990/year (instead of $5,988).

What about GDPR and data residency?▼

We currently operate in Asia (Mumbai) with EU and US regions coming soon. Login pages are served from 300+ edge locations globally. Enterprise customers can request dedicated regional deployments.
